In Memory of Our Founder Antonino Tribunella

Antonino was born in 1947 in Collesano, Sicily. At seven years old, he and his siblings were sponsored by his aunt Nina Panzarella to move to America. On July 27, 1954 Antonino arrived in New York City’s harbor on the Conta Bianca Mano ship to begin his new journey. He later married and had three beautiful children and two successful pizzerias in the heart of New York City. In 1986 Antonino moved his family to Boca Raton, Florida to open Nino’s of Delray Beach. Antonino had a passion for cooking and was an incredible businessman loved by all.

Nino and family have been serving South Florida for twenty-one years. Nino’s restaurant offers authentic Italian fare, a family atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Nino does not serve up nouvelle cuisine in small portions. He dishes his pasta up like Mama did, plentiful and flavorful. Hand tossed pizza, homemade sauce, classic Italian dishes, and delicious specialties make dining an enjoyable experience any day of the week. We use only hand-cut fresh fish. Trans-fat free cooking oils, including olive oil, are used. Now Delray Beach is the only location. The restaurant is family owned and operated. Freshness and cleanliness are important to Nino, as is consistency. “Everything is made here on the premises” Ninos explains. “I bargain to get the best ingredients at the best prices, but my motto is quality first, price second.”

Roberto worked with his father for over fifteen years prior to taking over the family business. He’s proud to run Nino’s in the spirit of his late father. Roberto’s wife, Claudia, and his daughters Victoria and Juliana are often helping out at the restaurant. You can catch Victoria at the hostess stands on the weekends, working alongside her father.
